Awareness Education Foundation - A Dream Come True!

In February, 2001, I had a series of dreams, which rather flabbergasted me, as they told of my winning $94 million dollars from the lottery for the specific purpose of setting up a non-profit to help people. I was to keep 10% - sort of the reverse of tithing - and the non-profit was to bring education and awareness to people for changing and improving their lives. At first, I didn’t take any of this seriously - the whole “Who me? - Why me?” I think that is why I continued to get more dreams with more details as to the areas of the gift giving - what I latter realized was ‘grassroots’ type projects of varying details, sometimes actual slogans were put into my head. I have never really been a person who remembered my dreams, or even trusted my intuition to any extent. Yet, since the dreams continued to be consistent in their return, I felt I should speak to someone who would not think I was totally nuts.

I was working a contract job, soon to expire and had never been one to play the CA Lotto on any regular basis. I spoke to a friend, whom I had met through another friend, and had several interesting conversations, as she was quite into metaphysical things. She immediately said she would call her Meditation Guide - I don’t really remember any other official title she had - and we spoke on the phone for probably fifteen minutes or so. While she had never met me - she was out of state - she did not brush me off, and gave me some basic information as to writing down all I could remember and of course, buying lottery tickets. At the same time, she wanted me to understand that this may not be something that was coming into fruition immediately as ‘ether’ time was not the same as Earth time.

Again with unemployment came time, and unbelievable experiences of manifesting money, people and other things into my life for learning. While still disappointed when not winning the large amounts in the lottery, I accepted that my time had not yet come. I began to gather the information and details for fulfilling my dream of so many years prior. I also had learned to listen to my intuition, especially when repeated until I acted, which included writing a blog on the effects of one’s past on the present, filing Articles of Incorporation for the foundation. Still, I was constantly studying more Spiritual writings of various types. I was changing, and many of my long time friends were noticing the ‘softening’ of my speech and actions. I still had a long way to go, but obviously if I was to be in charge of a $100 million plus very giving non-profit, I needed to be able to walk and talk like a person of Spiritual understanding and practice.

We do not have to re-event the wheel, we just need to keep it rolling along to achieve more through Awareness. Grassroots giving does more for people without bureaucracy. The majority of grants / loans will be of $10,000, with a top of $100,000 for larger programs. As the recipient shows their viability with use, AEF will match any outside funds raised on an annual basis.

When you become a true self-master; first you teach by example and through your actions, and finally through words. You set the new standards of behavior and others want to emulate you and adopt your new philosophy of life; therefore, it is of vast importance that you focus on what is right in your world and look for the best in those around you, for that is what you will reinforce. You can change the world around you, one thought at a time.

Money is a flow of energy that actually represents pure potentiality, which offers opportunities, so is inherently innocent. Thus, there is nothing wrong with money. Nor is it the case that by receiving money you act at the expense of others. With money you are able to create beautiful and good things for others, as well as for yourself. By receiving it joyfully, you expand the flow of abundance for both yourself and for others. In this way of sharing, the creative spiral always generates a balanced flow of receiving and giving. Just as with your heart giving and receiving love, so do not be afraid to receive money.

Some of the Programs we are planning to support by financial assistance and awareness training:

   1.  Job Development Training - abused / any criminal background / lacking education - Trade school jobs assist - Delancy Street collaboration - “Not 3 Strikes - preventing recidivism ”
   2. GLBT - Program Support - Embrace Your Uniqueness - Stand strong in your truth
   3. New Minorities in Business - Positive Awareness Training / Support - Grants/loans
   4. Junior/Senior High Brass Ring Scholarships; Anti-gang; Foster Care - medical shots
   5. Discounted Training programs for Non-profits - Small Businesses - Agencies, etc.
   6. All Arts/Arts Training; School Musical Instruments; Scholarships/programs/Show space
   7. Wonderland Publishing - children/youth/history/culture/biography - Books that Resonate
   8. Human - Civil - Social Rights - The Zen Center programs; Seniors Support, etc.
   9. Environment - low-income Solar Panels; Endangered species/animal protection - new natural gas stations and engine converter companies, which would both, employ ex-offenders.
  10. Continual research and outreach to expand upon more programs or needs to service - meds for nails; Community programs - grassroots          

Work with Delancy Street Center and any other established organizations to expand their training for employment of their ex-offenders. Also make a wide variety of training available for non-profits and other companies through connections from EAC.

Note: all profits or repayments of loans from any programs will be returned to AEF

New ideas and programs are added several times a week as I read about some Grass-Roots group or see something on the Internet or TV.

Alice Parker began to study Metaphysics back in the early 1980s, but her interest in hypnosis, paranormal and astrology went back ten years prior, with some interesting experiences. And while she had always had a great interest in studying many various religions, her knowledge of Spirituality was a rather spurted off and on practice. She did have the opportunity to explore and study Zen Buddhism during her seven years working in Japan, and had several ‘sensory’ happenings once she moved to San Francisco and then Honolulu. Once she had returned other ‘coincidences’ of out of the blue conversations continued as she often felt absolutely compelled to pursue information, and then have it literally fall into her hands. While they often stopped her in her tracks momentarily, it was only in looking back months or years later on these synchronicities that she could acknowledge that she had been guided to read and learn.

Alice was still referring to them as Metaphysical teachings until she met an Intuitive guide in late 2006. After a personal reading, meditation classes and an opportunity to meet so many others along their path, did she finally realize that she was on a Spiritual journey. It was through meeting Shirley Runco that she was introduced into the amazing world of Dowsing and discovered so much more of her Self. “Shirley strongly urged me to do my Blog “Move Past Your Past” (http://pastyourpast.wordpress.com/), then I really bloomed and grew listening to my Guide. I now have a modest, but strong following who let me know how I’ve brought awareness to them.
